Started walking today right around 7 AM under a mostly cloudy sky with temp in the low 50s.

Only a single Osprey was working the fishing pond this morning. I watched him for a while just before we started out but all he did was circle – I did not get to see any fishing attempts. The other birds at the park were chirping up a storm but staying mostly out of camera range. I did encounter a cooperative Flicker who has provided us with today’s featured picture.

Birds: Starlings, Swallows, Barn Swallow, Mallard Ducks, Wood Ducks, Osprey, Cormorant, Canada Geese,Kestrel, Meadowlark, Flicker, Tropical Kingbird, Eastern Kingbird, Bullock’s Oriole, Quail
Critters: Mule Deer
