Environment:
Start Time: 8:00 AM Temperature: 59 degrees Sky: Cloud filtered sunshine with increasing breeze.
Conditions this morning, though warmer, were not as good as yesterday. The high, thin clouds really put a damper on the morning light. Even so, I managed to come up with some captures worth posting. Today’s featured image is a highly cooperative Brown-crested Flycatcher. I noticed that the Cottonwood trees are sprouting their cotton and it looks like there will be a good crop this year. Except for the diving Osprey pictured below all my other bird captures were perched. That Osprey, in case you are wondering, did not complete its strike, pulling up at the last second.
