The Autumn Color has been fading of late so I thought I’d take one last stab at capturing some of it before it vanishes completely. From the looks of things I’d say I was about one day late. But I gave it my best and have posted two of my captures. Above, as featured image, is a shot of the North bank of the Arkansas River shot at the bend near the old Highway 96 bridge. This is one of those scenes that I keep an eye on and I lucked out today with pretty good light and some interesting background clouds. Below is what I assume to be a Cottonwood still holding onto its glory. Not much wildlife activity at all but still a great walk.
