Environment:
Start Time: 8:10 AM Temperature: 54 degrees Sky: Mostly sunshine.

Once again I managed to catch sight of a good number of birds without capturing many of them on my memory card. Everyone was either keeping their distance or heading off to an important appointment. All except for the Great Blue Heron in the featured spot above. This one was just chilling on a mid-river rock without a care in the world while fish were jumping up all around. Guess s/he was full. The blooming Rabbitbrush were joined today by some blooming Machaeranthera (I hope) with a nice complementary shade of purple. I can count on one finger the number of Osprey that I saw today. I hope the Winter birds start coming in soon.
