A lizard that is willing to still be hanging out in near mid-October deserves to get the featured image spot on this blog. I think it will be reconsidering living arrangements come Thursday – according to the local weather people. Birds are still few and far between. I saw no Cormorants today! No Geese, either. The juvenile Osprey pictured here is (I think) the last hold-out of its kind and it, too, may have a change of heart on Thursday.

Sightings:
Birds: Mallards, Gulls, Osprey, Starlings, Northern Flickers, Belted Kingfisher, Killdeer, Owl, White-crowned Sparrows, White-breasted Nuthatches
Critters: Prairie Dogs, Cabbage White Butterflies, Painted Lady Butterfly, Tree Squirrel, Ornate Tree Lizard
Gear: Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II, Lumix 100-300mm, Olympus EE-1 Dot Sight
