Environment:
Start Time: 8:10 AM Temperature: 45 degrees Sky: Sunshine.

With today’s morning temperature being tolerable and the forecast evening temperature looking a little toasty I opted to hit the trail in the AM. Things started out slowly but picked up around the halfway mark. There is still an Osprey hanging around and it captured the opening and closing images of this post. It was perched high up but seems to have been bothered by my attention and took to air. Also on a flyby was a Mallard Drake. I saw at least three Great Blue Herons today – the one pictured here was working the waters of the Arkansas River right by the spillway from the Fish Hatchery.
