Environment:Start Time: 6:50 AM Temperature: 64 degrees Sky: Haze and cloud filtered sunshine light breeze Clouds and haze not quite as bad as yesterday but a slightly cooler temperature made for another great morning walk. The Arkansas River is still quite high but the Geese, Mallards and a few fishermen are venturing back in. Also joining the gang were a couple of Common Mergansers one of which is today’s featured image up top. Environment:Start Time: 8:50 AM Temperature: 60 degrees Sky: Sunshine few clouds with a light breeze Memorial Day weekend was off to a ripping start this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park. When I arrived I noticed a number of families had already set up shop around the Anticline Fishing Pond and were focused on some fishing. The Arkansas River was another story. There were a few serious fishermen out in the high water but not as many as a normal Saturday morning. I saw only one duck on the river today – no, not a Mallard – a Common Merganser….
