Environment:Start Time: 7:15 AM Temperature: 60 degrees Sky: Sunshine thin clouds with little breeze Not a lot going on at Lake Pueblo State Park early this morning. Another good day in terms of seeing and hearing birds but not so great in the photography department. I saw quite a few Osprey flying around – I have posted one photo here of a pair who seemed to be in some kind of chase activity. Don’t know if it was for fun or not. Environment:Start Time: 8:30 AM Temperature: 58 degrees Sky: Sun and clouds with a light breeze Another terrific morning to be out in Nature. Though I’m not sure the birds and beasts shared that sentiment as not many were making themselves visible. I spent a good deal of effort chasing Blue Jays, Wrens and Yellow-rumped Warblers through the branches of trees with no luck. We started on our walk today around 6:10 in 57 degrees and the sun behind a low cloud bank in the East. No other clouds were poised to offer any further resistance to the sun with only a small amount of haze and a very light breeze. As I expected the sun cleared the clouds just as we arrived on the river bank. The park was oddly unpopulated this morning I assume because everyone was up late last night celebrating the Fourth of July.
