Environment:Start Time: 9:00 AM Temperature: 45 degrees Sky: Sunny, light to moderate wind A little cooler this morning with a very stiff breeze making things a little uncomfortable. Not many birds out and those I saw were having difficulty getting around in the wind. I, too, cut my outing a little short to get out of the wind. But I did notice that Spring is really trying to set in. Environment:Start Time: 8:30 AM Temperature: 54 degrees Sky: Sunny, No clouds, Light Breeze Summer Shows Signs of Surrender to Fall We arrived a little late again this morning to an environment that was an absolute clone of yesterday. The only difference was a little more bird activity. The Osprey were out in force gliding up and down the Arkansas River looking for fish and making darn sure they were out of my range. Environment:Start Time: 8:15 AM Temperature: 54 degrees Sky: Sunny, No clouds, Light Breeze Summer Returns along with Some Favorites Bright sunshine and clear skies have made a comeback at Lake Pueblo State Park. The Rabbitbrush was blooming with real conviction in the morning sun (today’s featured image) and the birds were very active but as shy as ever. My quest for shots of smaller birds was unsuccessful again this morning but I managed to get a couple of good shots of the larger variety.
