Environment:Start Time: 7:50 AM Temperature: 54 degrees Sky: Sun and clouds with a light breeze Got started a little earlier this morning which was a good thing because the increasing cloud cover had really subdued the sunlight by the time I had finished my walk. Today was another day of lots of loud bird chatter and few actual photo opportunities. The ever increasing foliage is making bird spotting tougher, too. But I still did okay in the photo department. Environment:Start Time: 7:50 AM Temperature: 59 degrees Sky: Sunny, few clouds with light breeze Another early morning with another warm day ahead. Pretty mellow morning with only the Starlings and Mourning Doves out and about in force. Today’s featured image is of the seed clusters that are decorating most of the Cottonwood branches. I’ve seen activity there two days in a row now. I also saw a couple of Osprey checking out the nest that is built on top of a utility pole nearer to the Arkansas River right along…

This morning was even cooler at 59 degrees than it was yesterday at 6:15. Maybe tomorrow it will snow. Pretty cloudy but some sun especially near the end of my walk. Really a beautiful day for a stroll though the trails and lawns were a bit muddy as a result of last evening’s rain. The first thing Whisper and I did was check out the Osprey nest that I spotted yesterday. The reason I saw it was because I was following the flight of an Osprey who was carrying what looked like nesting material and s/he flew right to the…
