There was a wide variety of birds this morning most of whom had better things to do than pose for my camera. Environment:Start Time: 12:30 PM Temperature: 46 degrees Sky: Sunny, few clouds, light breeze After several days of dicey weather and a rather cold morning I finally managed to make it out to Lake Pueblo State Park this afternoon. Gorgeous day for walking about. Apparently it was not such a great day for flying about – since the avian activity was very subdued. Environment:Start Time: 9:45 AM Temperature: 41 degrees Sky: Sunshine, high clouds, light breeze Started a little late the morning thanks to the early morning freezing temperature. Forty degrees is my cutoff for outdoor walking/photography. I have found that my wildlife photography is much better when I can feel my hands. I don’t know if the birds have similar temperature requirements or if there is some other reason that so few were out and about this morning. Those who were around wanted nothing to do with me.
