Environment:Start Time: 7:25 AM Temperature: 62 degrees Sky: Sunshine light overcast with a persistent breeze I decided to change things up a little this morning. Rather than doing my normal patrol at Lake Pueblo State park I, instead, motored South to Walsenburg, Colorado and from there went West on highway 160 to Lathrop State Park. Lake Pueblo State Park is really greening up. The problem with that is it gives the birds great hiding places. Environment:Start Time: 6:55 PM Temperature: 62 degrees Sky: Sunshine, clouds with light breeze An ugly morning led to a late afternoon outing at Lake Pueblo State Park. Though the bird activity was less than frantic I managed to get the best look at the little Great Horned Owlet so far – today’s featured image. I think he is outgrowing the nest.
