Environment:Start Time: 3:30 PM Temperature: 36 degrees Sky: Sunshine light (but punishing) breeze It was a little colder than I like it to be when I walk but I took a chance this afternoon and headed out. With full sunshine blazing through a cloudless sky it wasn’t that bad – except when the breeze hit. Not good. So I ended up cutting the walk short and got back to the car with nothing new on my camera’s memory card. Today’s featured image is another version of the sunset I shot from the Lake Pueblo Dam at the end of November….

Environment:Start Time: 3:25 PM Temperature: 59 degrees Sky: Cloud filtered sunshine with light breeze. The last day of November closed out in a spectacular display of color. Fortunately I showed up today with the my wide angle kit intending to get some scenic shots before every last leaf has abandoned its tree. Environment:Start Time: 3:10 PM Temperature: 55 degrees Sky: Sun, high clouds. Another great afternoon walk goes into the books. What birds there were were pretty active but in no mood to be photographed. Posted here is the one Dark-eyed Junco who had a minute to stop and think. But things took a good turn at the end of my walk. The Sun was doing interesting things with the thin clouds that were floating around in the West over Lake Pueblo. So instead of going straight home I drove up to my usual spot on the Lake Pueblo Dam and waited…
