The sun is coming up later these days so we are getting started later. This morning it was 6:30 with a very pleasant 64 degrees. Not many clouds and a slight breeze made for a very pleasant hike. It’s a good thing the walk was a pleasant one (and well worth the trip out) because nothing was happening in the photography department. After taking a look out of my kitchen window around 7:45 PM and seeing a sky with tremendous potential to deliver some dramatic scenic vistas, I grabbed my camera (and Whisper) and we made a beeline for Lake Pueblo State Park. This image showcases one of the coolest features of the Panasonic Lumix GX-85. This panorama shot was created in-camera as the photo was being taken. The lens used was the Lumix G Vario 45-150mm Quite a change of pace today. The promise of stormy weather made me wait until evening to head out to Lake Pueblo State Park. This turned out to have been a good decision. Super Moonset

This morning it was all hands on deck! Clear, calm weather and a Super Moon nearing the horizon. Up at 6 AM and set up to shoot on the dam at Lake Pueblo State Park before 6:30. I had my three main cameras hanging from anyplace I could hang them. I set up my Olympus E-1 to try a time lapse series of the moon setting.
