October 31 – Addendum

While looking through my picture archive on the 31st I came across an image that I shot in 2015 on October 31st. It struck me not just because it is a wonderfully colorful Autumn scenic but also because I was able to recognize exactly where I took the shot. The image is the featured image (above) for this post. Environment:Start Time: 7:05 AM Temperature: 60 degrees Sky: Scattered Clouds, light breeze I decided on a change of pace this morning once I saw the sky. It was full of well defined fluffy white clouds which made me want to shoot more scenic pictures. It’s going to be a hot one today. Weather forecast is for 100+ degrees. We got to our starting spot at 6:10 again and the temp had only reached 56 degrees. No clouds were there to offer even the slightest relief. You gotta start early or forget about it. I decided to give the heron’s a day off today and didn’t check out the nest this morning.
