Another great afternoon walk goes into the books. What birds there were were pretty active but in no mood to be photographed. Posted here is the one Dark-eyed Junco who had a minute to stop and think. But things took a good turn at the end of my walk. The Sun was doing interesting things with the thin clouds that were floating around in the West over Lake Pueblo. So instead of going straight home I drove up to my usual spot on the Lake Pueblo Dam and waited to see what might happen. Today’s featured image is one of the shots I captured looking out over Lake Pueblo toward the Wet Mountains. Posted below is the view from the same position but looking North over the prairie. I think the results were well worth the wait.
