I’m starting to really like these late afternoon walks and things are starting to pick up along the Arkansas River. Posted below is a group of Bufflehead Ducks settling themselves in for the Winter. I also had a great session with a Belted Kingfisher who I caught making a strike on the river and captured him with his catch shortly thereafter. Not award winning photography but serviceable. I saw another Mule Deer Buck who was, again, headed back into the Prairie with what looked like a smile on his face. Today’s featured image is another portrait of Liberty Point – this time in the late afternoon light.
