Check out last year’s walk on this day HERE.
Fifteen degrees warmer, a little more sunshine and a lot less breeze really can make a difference. Once again I was out walking in a T-shirt instead of the heavy sweatshirt I wore a couple of days ago. Great walking conditions all around. The colder temps of yesterday have really done a number on the Autumn color. Most of the trees are bare and the wind took down at least one tree that I saw. The most exciting bird action is today’s featured (and only) image – a group of Canada Geese floating through the bare trees reflected on the calm waters of the Anticline Fishing Pond. Geese and Sparrows are the two most numerous bird types out there. I hope the Winter birds start showing up soon.
