After returning from my Holiday visit to San Francisco I am facing two issues. First, of course, is the super cold weather and, second, I managed to pick up a bug somewhere along the way. Environment:Start Time: 4:40 PM Temperature: 59 degrees Sky: More clouds than Sun with persistent breeze. Winter’s last full day turned out a little better than I expected. What started as an unremarkable walk ended with a bang when I spotted an Osprey perched over the Arkansas River which he was studying intently. He was a little soggy from what I assume was an unsuccessful fishing trip but apparently undaunted. In total I saw three Osprey which ins enough for me to declare Osprey Season officially open. I didn’t do a morning walk because of pretty heavy cloud cover. The Sun finally popped out and burned off those clouds but by the time I started my walk clouds were building back in from the West.
