Environment:Start Time: 6:45 AM Temperature: 64 degrees Sky: Sun with a few clouds in the western sky. Quite pleasant once again this morning thanks to a gentle breeze offering some temperature moderation. Even so you could tell that it was going to be a hot one today. The only birds I photographed today were (surprise) the Osprey family in what I have started calling the River Bend Nest. I was really surprised to see all three kids present. Environment:Start Time: 6:45 AM Temperature: 60 degrees Sky: Wildfire haze filtered sunshine. Very little breeze. Environment:Start Time: 6:55 PM Temperature: 62 degrees Sky: Sunshine, clouds with light breeze An ugly morning led to a late afternoon outing at Lake Pueblo State Park. Though the bird activity was less than frantic I managed to get the best look at the little Great Horned Owlet so far – today’s featured image. I think he is outgrowing the nest. After that there was not many birds looking to be photographed. Since the Sun was going down I headed up to the top of the Lake Pueblo Dam and tried a few sunset scenic views. One of those (better…
