While some folks were out taking advantage of Black Friday deals, I, and a lot of others, was out taking an afternoon walk along the Arkansas River. I really kind of prefer late afternoon / early evening walks at Lake Pueblo State Park in the cooler months. No air quality alerts which I don’t understand since Pikes Peak was not visible from Reservoir Road as I drove into Lake Pueblo State Park. Still a lot of nesting activity going on – especially the Starlings and the Osprey. It looks like a pair of Osprey are going to take up residence in last year’s new nest right next to the Swim Beach.
